This little number has just arrived in French Connection this week and I love the detail on same. This Petal Polka Strapless Dress has a concealed zip and hook fastening at back, all-over disc and bead embellishment and a removable tie around the waist. It is the perfect dress to wear on a night out or you could dress it up for a formal event like a Wedding or a trip to the Races.

The beauty of this dress is its sheer simplicity so you can really go for lots of bright colour popping accessories to lift the look. It's a blank canvas so team it with fuchsia pinks, orange (which is huge this season), yellow, purple, blue...whatever floats your boat really.

This dress also comes in a cream version. You could team this colour with soft pastels. Maybe avoid the stronger shades like orange and yellow for a more muted palette. Pink would also work with this dress.
